Okay guys,

Tell me I don't need a dwarf hamster.

Cuz I can't stop reading about them.

You don't need a hamster. They bite, and you have to clean their cage way too often. (I'm assuming the latter, based on gerbil-keeping.)

I hear it's the males that do that. I _do_ know how to socialize hamsters, but all the same you have a point and now I'm reading up on rats.
