Me = stalker.
Though I gotta admit, if I could be at that symposium, it would REALLY be for the guy from GA Tech who works on mobile robotics for DARPA, programming teams of UAVs and UGVs who do group recon. The meeting of military robotics and developmental robotics breaks my brain; then again, children frequently demolish things as they learn about the world, so why not?

Update: at 13:35EST I placed a phone call and left the "Good luck with your talk, kick some ass, I love you" message. At 13:42EST I got a return call. "You're amazing." I noted that it was easy cuz hey, the schedule's on the web and I'm a science librarian for goodness sake. "I'm just talking about your thoughtfulness."
Thoughtfulness? I was _totally_ doing it to show off. But y'know, if it was appreciated, that's good, and I told him he was very welcome.
Now back to working, and thinking good thoughts at the West Coast....
