In the past two months I've ramped up my mileage. I got fed up with my weight, which had hit a low when I was too nervous to eat last summer but had since drifted up 13-15 pounds from that low, and running is an excuse to be outside, and not at work. Also, fall is great running weather. I'm still the same starchaholic with a taste for chocolate, so I've only lost a few pounds, but I _feel_ better. And a few times I've gotten
yaleartificer to come with me!
This week so far: 9.1 mi with 2 recording days to go
10/9-10/15: 11.7 total
10/2-10/8: 10.5 total
9/25-10/1: 10.0 total
9/17-9/24: 7.3 total
9/11-9/17: 8.3 total
9/4-9/9: 5.5 total
8/28-9/4: 5.5 total
8/21-8/27: 6.0 total
8/14-8/20: 3.5 total
8/7-8/13: 6.0 total
7/31-8/6: 7.5 total
Total for the last 3 months: 76.2 miles. Wow. I don't feel so bad now that I've totalled it up, especially since I ran less in August when something was wrong with my hip. Hopefully I can run a lot until it gets really frigid, now that I have some decent cold weather shirts....
So, to sum up: still slow, still big for a woman runner, still doing it anyway. 76.2 miles!!!
