Man, why don't I live in Columbus? Not only is Ladytron performing at the Wexner Center tomorrow night (info with link to MP3 of "Destroy Everything You Touch" here), but the Daily Show will be taping at Roy Bowen Theater from October 30 through November 2. Jealousy does not begin to describe it.
And then, since it's been too long since my last "TED STRICKLAND ROCKS M I RITE?" post: Wikipedia on the 2006 gubernatorial election in Ohio. It turns out that when I last got excited about this, it was when Strickland had the _least_ margin he's had so far. The entire poll series is a chart of beauty. The graph is making me cry.
The icing on the cake, of course, is that numbers for the Ohio 6th, which Strickland vacated, are doing okay too. Which is pretty amazing. I don't want to jinx it by making too much of it, but man, is this what it looks like when the DCCC gives a crap about my congressional district? I know they're playing a cold numbers game, but it's so beautiful....
