1. Bought Anna Nalick's CD at Target the other night; the price was right. As I suspected, "Breathe (2 AM)" is the best song on the album. "Wreck of the Day", the title track, ain't bad though. They've produced her with sort of a Jason Mraz sound, though she isn't his sort of witty. Those of you who like Michelle Branch but find her a bit too much in the tone-bending department might like Anna's work, but I can't get my Mac to recognize the CD, and I suspect they may have put some funky copyright protection on it. (It'll play in WMP though.)
2. I had a quiet night at home last night. Didn't work on the game that much, but finally got caught up on the CMI story hour posts, and answered the outstanding question about the President in the CMI world. And I put in earplugs to shut out my roommate and the downstairs neighbor who was laughing loudly while on the phone (she has a marvelous laugh though), and got a better night of sleep than I've had since, oh, some time last week.
3. It's raining today. I hope this makes my garden plot workable next week; the basil and peppers want to be out there.
4. Just figured out that my voicemail light doesn't blink on my new phone. Fer crap's sake, that's a pain in the ass. I wonder if I can just swop the phones, cuz I had 5 damn messages!
