Amount of business sense this makes for the paper: I have _no_ idea, but I know _I_ can live without Dowd and Friedman just fine, thank you.
Number of times I thought *wtf?* at David Brooks' column today: I lost count, much as I lost track of his point, but it's Brooks, so I wasn't actually _surprised_ by that.
Now back to my lesson planning. Even though I'd rather be picking my favorite team for the DARPA Grand Challenge; who should I be backing? Does the Red Team refer to Red Whittaker as Red Leader and make nauseating quantities of Star Wars jokes? Should I root for the Palos Verdes High School team just cuz somebody has to root for the kids? Will Team CajunBot and Gray Team still be competing? Why aren't there more women on these teams goddammit?
Yeah, back to my lesson planning. Or a meeting. Or something.
Update: Oooh! I'll root for Desert Buckeyes, since they test their vehicle in the town dad went to high school in! (The hills really roll like that. It's awesome.)
