Take the cilantro, leave the zamboni

Hey, the traditional Anonycon snowstorm seems to have jumped the gun this year, huh? Wow. They're forecasting 7 to 11 inches here, all but the last inch before bedtime tonight. This is a problem because I wanted to be on campus from 7 to 9 to help with the No Study Zone study break event, but either I'll go or I won't, and if facilities says "get out now so we can plow parking lots this evening" I'm gonna do what they say. (Ironically, I am slated to work at that event with the very colleague who has been known to back people up against walls threatening them against closing the ref desk early in the event of snow. Luckily we're both indians and not chiefs, as far as this event is concerned. Oy.)

But hey, at least it'll all be over before I go to Stamford tomorrow. I'm hoping to leave here by 2pm, BTW, and get there by 4.

OMG too much baking.

On the other hand, it's all done and cooling and some of y'all will see the fruits of my labor this weekend! Everything's _made_, but I need to package it all up. Which I should be working on now, but I'm too tired.

Oh and I burned my wrist while dumping pans of baked goods onto cooling racks while talking to mom on the phone. Owie. But it's worth it for the canning jars full of presents sitting on my dining room console! Wow do they look good. Why can't I find my camera cable so I can upload pics of all the holiday crafts I've done?!?
