I did not just email the operator of a rescue organization down in Litchfield County about the pair of some exotic species of rat they have available for adoption, to see if the animals are still available and what the adoption terms would be. I did not just do that, nobody saw me do that, we can't prove anything. I did not offer to fill out an application and talk to my landlord about this idea.

Did I mention they were female African soft furred rats and they're tiny little critters with little black eyes that kinda bulge? (Praomys Natalensis is what they are, if you want the scientific name.) Yeah, I did not just do this.

and i told her i have a cat but i think I can cat-proof the stand the tank will sit on, and i told her that if she thinks i would be suitable i can call my landlord and ask for permission to adopt rats, and i told her who i am and that i'm a farm kid and stuff and aaaaaaaaa i can't believe i'm doing this but the rats are still available and aaaaaaaaaaa
