This same person has posted videos of ASF rats fetching balls, and says she trained a really aggressive female ASF to do it so I guess there's hope for my guys. Now if only I could get them to actually step on my hand without prompting. I think I'm going to have to start working with them regularly if I want that.
Oooh, and I think I found a German word for this group of rodents: vielzitzenmaus. Some of the critters listed are Mastomys coucha, but most are Mastomys natalensis. Now if only I could read German....
