My sister got to help deliver a cria by c-section today! (Don't worry, nothing scary there, just verbal description and a photo of a VERY cute cria on that page, go click!) Momma was up and eating shortly afterwards, and baby is fine too. Cria is a marvelous word for a leggy little baby animal. Cria cria cria. Yay!
We should call it cria yarn, not baby alpaca yarn. It would just be niftier. Less comprehensible, I know, but I like the word cria.
